Private Goat Snuggle Sessions

A quiet, one-on-one visit with our friendliest small goats, delivered to your door anywhere in metro Atlanta. Think of it as a goat-a-gram: we bring one or two small goats and a handler for 90 minutes of playing, snuggling, laughing and taking photos. It’s the perfect surprise for a birthday, a get-well visit, a hard week or anyone who simply needs some goat love.

Scheduling: flexibility is key

Snuggle sessions are booked around our land clearing work, when we move herds across town. Because of that, we can’t guarantee an exact date or time. Instead, we schedule in windows: usually 10am–1pm or 1pm–4pm, and occasionally 4pm–7pm. When you book, pick your first-choice date and let us know other days and windows that work for you. Windows can occasionally shift because, well, we work with animals. A little flexibility goes a long way, and we’ll always keep you in the loop.

Why snuggling a goat feels so good

There’s real science behind that happy feeling. Research on human-animal interaction has found that spending time with friendly animals is linked to lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol, lower heart rate and blood pressure, and better mood. One study of 249 college students found that just 10 minutes of petting animals significantly lowered their cortisol. Scientists believe the hormone oxytocin, often called the “love hormone,” plays a role in these feel-good effects, though that research is still growing.

Most of these studies looked at dogs and cats, but anyone who’s held a sleepy goat in their lap knows the feeling. Our goats spend their first year on the farm getting lots of cuddles and attention, so they’re social, curious and happy to be loved on.
