INVASIVE VINE REMOVAL
JAPANESE HONEYSUCKLE
REMOVAL
Strangling vines, gone the natural way
Japanese honeysuckle smells sweet, but it’s an aggressive invasive vine in Georgia. It twines around young trees and shrubs, blankets fences and the forest floor, and stays green much of the year, crowding out native plants. Goats browse it readily, which makes it a great fit for targeted grazing.
How goats handle honeysuckle
They strip the vines from fences, shrubs and the ground.
No herbicide around gardens, creeks or pets.
Our crew follows up: landscapers can untangle and cut vines wrapped high in trees.
Keep it from coming back
Like most invasive vines, honeysuckle regrows from its roots, so repeat grazing works best. Many clients book us once or twice a year, or clear once and follow with sheet mulching. Honeysuckle often grows alongside English ivy, privet and briars, and our goats clear them all in the same visit.
What it costs
Residential: most jobs run $800–1,500.
Commercial: most run $1,200–3,000.
